Music lessons are billed to a credit card on file on the 1st of each month based on the number of lessons occurring in that month. Students can stop lessons at the end of any month by submitting our online withdrawal form by the 15th.
All piano lessons are taught as private, one-on-one music instruction and are available in lengths of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. We suggest kids and teenagers begin with 30-minute piano lessons and progress to longer lengths as your teacher recommends. For students who have previous experience, we recommend starting with 45- or 60-minute lessons.
Because each student is unique in their aspirations, piano lesson plans are tailored to each student by taking their goals, experience, and learning pace into consideration.
KIDS & TEENAGERS
Since piano takes as little as one finger to create a sound, it’s a great instrument for younger children. We accept piano students as young as 4 years old and our teachers make learning fun and engaging with musical games, exercises, and songs written specifically for smaller hands.
Intermediate and advanced lessons for kids and teenagers focus on performing repertoire from different musical periods. More advanced techniques such as scales, right and left hand exercises, music listening, and theory will also be covered.
Beginning adult piano lessons focus on basic playing principles, such as proper technique and note reading. Intermediate and advanced students focus on repertoire and advanced techniques, such as scales, finger exercises, note reading, listening, and theory.
