Despite the heat, Artscape weekend was a great time in Baltimore! We had an amazing turnout with hundreds of people stopping by to color, compose a song, and try out an instrument for the first time. Our student concert on Saturday and faculty concert on Sunday were packed!

Artscape Weekend

Artscape begins tomorrow and we're looking forward to it! Baltimore School of Music will be at the festival all weekend in the Kidscape area with fun activities, including: classical music coloring sheets, composer your own song, and an instrument petting zoo to try out instruments. We'll also be performing on Saturday and Sunday at the Kidscape stage. Stop by and have some fun!

Artscape is open at the following times:

Baltimore School of Music announces fall music series in Sherwood Garden

Baltimore School of Music is launching this fall a free "Music in the Gardens" series in Guilford’s Sherwood Gardens.

The first “Music in the Gardens” series event on September 16 and will feature a classical music concert featuring faculty from Baltimore School of Music. The following month will feature an combined yoga and live classical music event on October 14.

“Music is meant to be shared and enjoyed by all,” said Baltimore School of Music Director James Lowe.“ ‘Music in the Gardens’ brings music into the community in a fun and innovative way.”

Both events will be held at 10 a.m. in Sherwood Gardens and will feature free coffee donated by Charm City Coffee Roasters. Both events are free and open to the public; donations will be accepted for Baltimore School of Music's scholarship fund.

“Music in the Gardens” is offered in partnership with the Guilford Association and Stratford Green.
